Homework for the first part of the course will be given daily and collected weekly. There will be a fair amount of writing and rewriting in the course, so it is suggested that you use a program such as TeX, LaTeX, or some other word processor to prepare your assignments. During the surreal numbers section of the course, homework will be determined by those responsible for presenting the sections in consultation with me. You are encouraged to try all the exercises and I am happy to discuss any of them with you before or after they are due.
