The Snake River Salmon and Steelhead survey was part of a cooperative research project by students and faculty at Reed College in Portland, Oregon and Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington. The data assembled from respondents was used by the students in our Environmental and Natural Resource Economics courses to examine how people feel about restoring salmon and steelhead runs to the Snake River.
