As you may recall, there are a total of five 2-3 page essays assigned in this course, and your grade for the essays will be the average of the top 4 paper grades, with the fifth, lowest grade being dropped.  At this point, there are two more short essays scheduled: one due on Monday, April 5 and the other on Wednesday, April 28.  If you are comfortable with your average for the first three essays, you may choose to write only one more rather than two more; if you take that option, of course, all four of the essays you do write will count, and the lowest grade of the four will not be dropped.
