Source Analysis on writings by Qiu Jin from “The Beheaded Feminist: Qiu Jin,” in The Red Brush [E-reserve]

General description of the assignment:

For this assignment you will write a short analysis of some of the writings of Qiu Jin.  Keep your analysis focused on just one topic.  You must cite from Qiu Jin’s writings to support your analysis.  For this analysis focus on the actual writings of Qiu Jin in the chapter, not on the commentary by the editors.

The assignment must be typed, double-spaced, minimum 12-point font, minimum 1-inch margins, MAXIMUM ONE PAGE. 

 

Possible points for consideration (You cannot address all of these points in a single page, in fact you do not need to address any of them, feel free to focus on an aspect of her writings you find particularly interesting):
