The HJT lobby houses the Box Office, where patrons purchase tickets for season shows. Once in the lobby, theatregoers will find plenty to keep them occupied while they wait to be seated. The Autograph Wall features a collection of signed headshots from famous performers like Claudette Colbert, Julie Andrews, and Michael Crawford. Award plaques line the lobby walls, engraved with the names of students who have won theatre scholarships and awards in acting and technical work. Harper Joy owns one of the largest collections of theatre posters in the nation, and a wide selection are on display in the lobby, hallways, main office, design classroom and Alexander Stage. Other walls are covered with programs, production ads, magazine articles, and tickets spanning over one hundred years of theatre. |
