DSCF1805.JPG 1:33 pm Erin was very eager to hold her new sister.

|
DSCF1806.JPG It's been tough, because she had a very bad cold last week, and so we've been much more restrictive about her access to Ingrid than we might otherwise be.
|
DSCF1808.JPG It's doubly frustrating for Erin, because she promises to be careful, and still isn't allowed to do things (well, she's 3 1/2 -- she's just not coordinated enough to be as careful as she intends to be).

DSCF1810.JPG 11/14/2008 7:41 Without all of the different traumas that happened with Erin's birth, nursing is going much better, and has been from the beginning. Apparently, those 2 hours I was in recovery, Ingrid was busy explaining to Jack that she was born hungry, and what was he going to do about it?

IMG_0017.JPG 11/14/2008 8:37 My appetite came back immediately -- I was starving the day of the surgery, and they let me eat a regular dinner. Then I made Jack bring me food in the middle of the night. Then I continued to devour everything in sight for the duration.

DSCF1813.JPG 11/15/2008 They say you heal faster if you walk. So Erin and I took a (very short) walk.

DSCF1821.JPG 11/16/2008 You still look a lot like you're pregnant after the baby is born. Except this really hurts.
