It's been tough, because she had a very bad cold last week, and so we've been much more restrictive about her access to Ingrid than we might otherwise be.

It's doubly frustrating for Erin, because she promises to be careful, and still isn't allowed to do things (well, she's 3 1/2 -- she's just not coordinated enough to be as careful as she intends to be).

11/14/2008 7:41 Without all of the different traumas that happened with Erin's birth, nursing is going much better, and has been from the beginning. Apparently, those 2 hours I was in recovery, Ingrid was busy explaining to Jack that she was born hungry, and what was he going to do about it?

11/14/2008 8:37 My appetite came back immediately -- I was starving the day of the surgery, and they let me eat a regular dinner. Then I made Jack bring me food in the middle of the night. Then I continued to devour everything in sight for the duration.
