Name of area:Exit 38 / Little Mt. Si
Where:Adjacent to I-90 east of Seattle
How do I get there from Walla Walla?:Get on I-90 headed toward Seattle via either Yakima or Vantage. For Exit 38 (you guessed it!) take exit 38. The crags are scattered through the forest on the south side of the interstate. For Little Mt. Si, take exit 32, go northeast on Hwy. 202 to Mt. Si Rd. Cross the Snoqualmie River, turn left and follow to parking area. Hike down 434th St. SE 0.25 mile to trailhead.
How long of a drive is it? 4.5 hours
What's there?: Small to moderate sized butresses of low-grade meta-volcanic rock with numerous sport routes of all grades.
