There are also several steep limestone sport climbing crags (China Bend, etc.) an hour or so north of Spokane. The most famous Spokane area is Minnehaha which is a city park. Depending on the individual area there are sport routes, cracks, and top-ropes. For more detailed info, get a copy of Marty Bland's guidebook to Spokane-area climbing.
