Our text is: Linear Algebra and its Applications, Fourth Edition, by David Lay. Here is the link from Amazon.com if you would like more information about it.

Octave is a free version of Matlab. Some things about it may differ from Matlab, but for the things we'll do in class, it shouldn't be a problem.

Matlab Homework for Week 4:
Identify the mappings used for the "Examples of Fractals". Put them into Octave/Matlab and run the function given below to get the images.
- plotIFS.m function to get images.
- ifsSierp.m is the main script that calls plotIFS.
The upper left fractal be done in class, see if you can get images for the next three. Provide screenshots to CLEO. (Due: Before class Wed).
